TOPOLO-RV continues to innovate in RV materials. The sandwich panel with CFRT (continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic) as the facing and PU (polyurethane) foam as the core material is our creative breakthrough. It breaks the traditional method of using FRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) sheets as the facing and XPS (extruded polystyrene) foam as the core material.
It does:
- More lightweight: PU foam has a lower density than XPS foam.
- More Thermal Insulation: PU foam has lower thermal conductivity than XPS foam, so it has better thermal insulation effect.
- More Durable: CFRT sheets are more wear-resistant and deformation-resistant than FRP sheets.
This new type of RV composite panel has been accepted by many European RV manufacturers and has begun to be put on the market.
