Description

What is GMT material?

GMT (Glass Mat reinforced Thermoplastics) is a composite material based on thermoplastic resin and reinforced by glass fiber mat. GMT material is a novel composite material that is developing extremely rapidly. It has a series of advantages that thermosetting resin composite materials do not have, such as good toughness, high damage resistance, and no pollution to the environment.

Why choose GMT as the laminate material?

Laminating GMT between foam and FRP can greatly improve the performance of composite panels, such as:

  • Increase impact strength.
  • Not easy to delaminate.
  • The surface is smoother.
